À L'abri du feu
À L'abri du feu is a coop game done during a board game design class. The goal was to design and produce a board game for teens and the game had to be an adaptation from a Quebec book that had no movie or game adaptation. In team, we chose the book Feu written by Jean-François Sénéchal.
The goal of the game is to go through a city on the edge of destruction due to a war between the corrupted government, a poor population and a group of rebels who seeks power and control, in search of a dissident who'll be able to reach the federal city and give them the message to send troops in the town to save the day. The players will have to find and protect the dissident during a limited amount of turn before the final bombing while surviving the upcoming challenges they will have to face together.
